Why Catalonia?

1. Bon dia! Good Day! The "official" morning greeting in Catalonia is more than a statement of intent. The climate is our ally; the average temperature is 17ºC and we enjoy more than 300 sunny days a year.

2. Very, very close. Catalonia has it all. And everything is within reach. You can go from big cities to mountain surroundings in just over an hour. Catalonia has four international airports, an extensive rail and road network and the main port for cruise ships in the Mediterranean.

3. Touched by the Mediterranean. The sea is always present. It is part of the character of its people - open and welcoming - and provides a unique range of possibilities to enjoy Catalonia and its unique experiences.

4. Sea and mountain. Contrast is richness. And the natural richness is priceless. It creates quality of life, offers a unique landscape and allows visitors to enjoy exceptional surroundings.

5. Geniuses' territory. Antoni Gaudí, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Pau Casals... and many other geniuses have elevated Catalonia, giving their eternal art as a present.

6. Product is the star. The Mediterranean diet is a lifestyle. The earth enriches the cuisine, and the Catalan product becomes an added value to every experience in Catalonia. Gastronomy to savour: healthy and recognized around the world with great Michelin-starred chefs.
